Passed away peacefully at the age of 82, Sidney Bazil Park at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre on Friday, July 30, 2010. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son Sheldon (Lois), and grandson Stephen Park; sister-in-laws: Marjorie and Alma, as well as a great number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret (2003), sisters: Suzanne (Stanley) House, and Florence (George) Blanchard; parents: Joseph and Elizabeth Park; brothers: Austin, Howard, Murdock, Jasper, Lesley, and Arthur. Visitation will take place at St. James Anglican Church, Gillams on Monday, August 2, 2010 from 10 am - 12 noon. Funeral service will take place at St. James Anglican Church, Gillams on Monday, August 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery, Corner Brook. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church.
