June 30, 1941 - June 15, 2009. Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at Carbonear Hospital. Predeceased by parents Robert and Carrie Vokey, sister Pearl Cook, brothers: William and sister-in-law Ada, Robert. Parents-in-law George and Miriam Luffman, sister-in-law, Bernice Morgan, brother-in-law Herbert Luffman. Leaving to mourn wife Jane; daughters: Tina (Bill) Hollett, Chance Cove, Loriann (Paul) Lewis, Markland; granddaughter Brianna Lewis; grandson Kyle Lewis; sister Mary (Paul) Penney; brothers: Clarence (Rita), Gordon (Corina), Albert (Tilda), Wendell (Kathy), Ronald (Norie); brother-in-law George Cook; sister-in-law Bessie Vokey; sisters-in-law Nancy (Ray) Morgan, Judy Bishop, Elaine (George) Mercer; brothers-in-law: Roy (Lillian) Luffman, Robert (Carrie) Luffman, Albert (Erma) Luffman; sister-in-law Grace Luffman; brother-in-law Charlie Morgan and their families. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation Tuesday 2:00 - 9:30 p.m., Wednesday 10:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m., Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. from St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Whitbourne. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery.
