Gladys Margaret Langis, 84, of Villa du Repos in Moncton, passed away on Tuesday March 29, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on January 28, 1927 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Élias and Gladys (Larkin) Gautreau. She is survived by two sons: Pierre (Rita) of Grand-Barachois and Roland (Rosa) of Dieppe; one sister: Thérèse Gautreau of Moncton; two brothers: Charles-Édouard “Eddie” (Lorraine) and Alfred “Freddie” (Géraldine), both of Dieppe. She was predeceased by her husband, Rudolphe, two sisters: Edna and Eva.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until departure (10:15). Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, Moncton, on Thursday March 31, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
