Fraser Douglas Cowan Seaward

Born In: Clarenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Born: March 19th, 1935

Passed in: Prince George, British Columbia, Canada
Passed on: June 2nd, 2017

Died peacefully in his sleep in the early morning of June 2 surrounded by his loving family at 82 years of age. Left to remember him is his wife of 63 years, Phyllis, and their children Doug (Val), Cyndi (Richard), Dan (Teresa), Craig (Sharon) and Rod (Rhonda), along with his grandchildren Natalie, Karla, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Justin, Taylor, Dale, Adam, Tanna and Brandon and great-grandchildren Jocelyn, Vivian, Wyatt and Presley. Also loved by siblings Lloyd of Bishop Falls and Juanita of Clarenville and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Charity.

Born in Newfoundland, Fraser later moved to Ontario and then to BC. No matter where he called home at the time, Fraser was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and along with it he'd always offer a smile and a story, which we'll never forget him for. Fraser was retired from CN and loved vehicles of all kinds; his stories often featuring one of his old Lincolns. Always a Newfoundlander at heart, he enjoyed whenever someone brought him back some moose for a taste of home. Saturday Night hockey games at his home were attended by many, young and old, who will remember fondly his love of people, life and Lady Cove Pond, where his ashes will be placed at a later date. Loved and missed by all.
