Passed suddenly away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on April 3, 2011, Archie Gordon Hart, age 65, from Lady Cove. Predeceased by parents, Otto & Rose (nee- Eastman) Hart; and brother, Maxwell. Leaving to mourn with many fond and precious memories are his wife of 45 years, Shirley (Durdle); daughter, Cathy (Shawn); sons, Derek (Cindi), Allan (Ana), Kenneth (Laurie); brothers, Robert (Dorothy), Gary (Velma), Edwin (Edna), Leroy; sisters, Shirley, Yvonne, Maxine, Bernice (Walter), Diane; grandchildren, Shauna, Denise, Devon, Alana, Grace, Emily, Jillian; nieces, nephews and a large number of relatives and friends. Rested at the United Church, Lady Cove from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Vera M. Abbott, took place on April 7, 2011 with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island.
