Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre, on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, Peggy Holwell, age 76 years. Predeceased by her parents, Violet and Jack Pike; and brother-in-law, Harry Holwell (Mabel). Leaving to mourn, her loving and devoted husband and best friend, George; precious sons: Gary and family (Sherwood Park, AB) and David (Brenda) (Flatrock, NL); devoted sisters: Beverly (Phonse) Howell, Judy (Don) Piercey, Audrey (Bob) Rockett, Roxanne (Gerry) Daley, Bonnie (Jim) Fox; brothers: Robert (Barbara), John (Debbie) and their families; former brother-in-law, Kevin Pope; wonderful nieces, nephews and their families including newborns; her brothers-in-law children: Heather (Levi) May, Allison Holwell (who have been like her daughters) and Larry (Stephanie) and their daughter Lyndsey; many childhood, school, nursing friends and working colleagues; lifelong friends: Pauline, Glenda and Judy; neighbours, especially Loyola and Eileen O'Reilly who've helped in all possible ways, as well as many extended family friends and a large circle of friends. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 7-9 pm and on Saturday, July 1, 2017 and Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place from St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Westerland Road, on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 2 pm. Burial will be held at the Anglican Cemetery Columbarium, Kenmount Road, with a reception following back at St. Augustine's Church Hall. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted, or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. It is Peggy's wish to "Please pass on your good deeds to others."
