It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Leigh MacLean, of Bloomfield, on January 5, 2018, at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O’Leary. Beloved husband and best friend of Lorraine (MacIsaac) MacLean. Loving and proud father to Norma Jean and Caroline (Miguel Forti). Stephen was born in O’Leary on April 2, 1954, son of Jean (Campbell) and the late Raeford MacLean, O’Leary. Dear brother to Garnet (Sharon Lord), Gwen, Cindy (Fred Fitzpatrick), John (Laura Hardy) and Betty. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by his mother and father in law; Norma (MacNeill) and Elwood MacIsaac, Dunblane, sisters and brothers in law, Virgina (Ron Fulton) and Linda (Tony Gallant). Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment in the Bloomfield United Church Cemetery.
