Mrs. Louise Dawe, 82 of Coley’s Point, Bay Roberts, passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital, in the arms of daughter Charlene and Edgar, her husband of 61 years, by her side. Also, deeply mourning her loss are Deborah and Grant whose special needs for her, were never a challenge; only grandbaby Allana Louise; sister Faith (Dave) Pushman; 1st cousins Dr. Phil (Elizabeth) LeFever, whom she thought of as the “brother” she never had and Clifford (Carol) Smith; sisters & brothers-in-law: John (Maxine Dawe who checked in on her at least once a day, Shirl Bowering, Janet (Lewis) Gosse, Gladys (Leslie) Lynch, Allan (Marjorie) Dawe & Sandra (Harry) Roach & Steven Roach, Allana’s Dad. Everyone did what they could. Also mourning her loss are her many special nieces & nephews and friends both near and far, that felt as though she was also their "other mother, auntie, sister or grammy.” She was so very loved.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A “Gathering to Share Special Memories” is being planned for a later date.

Donations in her name can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Newfoundland or to a charity of one’s choice.
