FRANCIS, Lorna Joyce (nee Irvine) - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018 at the PRHC in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Bob Francis. Loving mother of Barbara Francis (Don Danford), Brenda Francis-Pelkey (Mayer Schulman), Ian (Judith Stacey), Jackie Francis and Charles (Karen). Wonderful grandmother to Kim Deveau (James Wall), Michelle Deveau (Bernard Ferrie), Jody Wheeler (Paul), Naomi Pelkey, Nadja Pelkey (Joseph Stewart), Jessica Geary, Bill Dubuc, Marjorie Francis, Charlie Francis (Ashley Wynne), Matthew Bradley (Shayla), Joel Bradley, Bob Bradley (Sam), Michael Francis (Madalyn Budd), Adam Francis, great grandmother of 41 and great-great grandmother of 5. Dear sister of Aileen Boyce, Barb Headrick, Jean Attig, Jean Sharratt (George) and the late Catherine Wessel and Sinclair Irvine.
Lorna’s sudden absence has left a void in our hearts. We take solace in knowing that her adventuresome spirit, sharp mind, and warm presence will be honoured by the legacy of love she leaves to all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 - 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 with eulogies taking place at 2:30 p.m. at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME, 600 MONAGHAN ROAD S. 705-745-3211. In memory of Lorna, donations to the charity of your choice in her name would be appreciated.
