Passed peacefully away at his home in St. Jacques on Monday, May 9, 2011, Mr. Patrick Hickey, age 82 years. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Patricia; daughters, Dorothy (Stephen Stack) at Ottawa and Frances Hickey at St. Jacques; sons, Kevin (Madeline) at Paradise, Don (Karen) at Torbay and John (Michelle) at Nova Scotia; six grandchildren, Marsha, Shannon, Christopher, Connie, Jessica and Kayla; great grandson, Desmond; brother, Alex Hickey at St. Jacques; sister, Olive French at New Brunswick; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by sister, Mary, and brother, Frederick. Remains resting at the Roman Catholic Church in St. Jacques on Wednesday and Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund in St. Jacques. Funeral Service was held on Friday, May 13, 2011, at 2:00 pm from the Anglican Church in St. Jacques with Father Justin officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery at St. Jacques.
