Passed peacefully away on August 16, 2018, Horatio Roy Noseworthy at the Hugh Twomey Center, Botwood, at the age of 80 years of age. He retired from the Dept. of Transportation and was a member of the Lions Den, a coach in the Minor Hockey Association and member of the Senior Citizen's committee. He was predeceased by his wife Judy; parents, Maude and Stewart Noseworthy; brother, Kevin Noseworthy. He leaves to mourn his son Gregory (Lori) and one granddaughter Kaitlyn Noseworthy. Also left to mourn are his sisters: Louise James, Edith Rutherford, Glennys Noseworthy, Janet Noseworthy; brothers: Bill, Harold and Owen Noseworthy; brother-in-law Bruce (Agnes) Burry and a circle of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Headley Pope, Calvin Mackay, Calvin Rowe, Russell Matheson, Clarence Gill, Harold Thompson. Rev. James Martin-Carter conducted the funeral service at Trinity United Church, Botwood on Saturday, August 18, 2018 with cremation to follow and interment at a later date.
