Mary Ernestine (Ernie) Penny 87, died December 31, 2018, after a brief illness. Ernie was the last surviving member of her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, George; daughters, Juanita (Mark), Karen (Michael); son, Tom; grandchildren, Penny, Keri, Brian, Derek and great-grandsons, Gage and Cameron.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Cape Breton.
