Amanda Marie William
We the family of Amanda Marie Williams regret to announce her sudden passing on May 19, 2019 at the age of 39 years old.
Born in Sydney Mines, NS she was the daughter of Darlene Gardiner Williams & the late Robert Williams, and stepdaughter of Wayne MacLean.
She was a kind and wonderful person who volunteered for the Ally Center in Sydney for several years.
She is survived by her partner, George Whitty and her pet baby Summer, who was the light of her life. She is also survived by her daughter, Kori Young (Colin); son, Jermaine Williams; 2 grandchildren, Carley and Allie Mae; sisters, Tracy Williams (Jason), Crystal Williams (Bruce); brother, John (Kabrie) O’Handley and her special niece, Kayla Williams. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Besides her father, Amanda was predeceased by her brother, Christopher Williams.
Visitation will take place on Monday May 27, 2019, at TW Curry Parkview Chapel, from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be at TW Curry Parkview Chapel on Tuesday May 28, 2019 at 10 a.m., with Father Bill Burke presiding. Donations may be made in her memory to the Ally Center.
