Danny Dimm, age 53, a long standing resident of Lillooet, B.C., was taken from us suddenly Monday October 3, 2011, doing what he loved and knew so well.
Danny was born in Duncan, B.C. on February 25, 1958 to Fred and Eunice Dimm.
Danny loved the magic of Lillooet, its history, its people and its heart. He lived to connect with friends and tell stories, and show knowledge from a mind filled with details. He was a man of simple directness, with a huge gentle heart.
Danny was a man who loved to create, whether he was in the workshop or in the kitchen. The motivation for his life became his beloved son, Timber (age 5), who after a long struggle was brought home to live with his dad Danny, in Lillooet.
A celebration of life was held October 8, 2011 at the Lillooet REC center. In lieu of flowers please donate to the ‘Timber Dimm Fund’ at any Interior Savings branch.
