WHITE HILL - Jill Marshall, 68, White Hill, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, USA, on September 20, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Dr. Bruce and Ruth (McNamee) Morgan. With her parents being Missionaries with the Presbyterian Church, she lived in many areas around the world, eventually residing in Massachusetts where she graduated High School and later graduated with a Childcare Technician Diploma, in Albany, New York. Jill came to N.S. for a visit in 1964 where she met her husband and married in 1965. She also had worked for Zellers for 7 years.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Ian; daughter, Lucille Brennan (Mark), White Hill; son Brock (Sandara), New Glasgow; 4 grandchildren; Carly Cummings (Andrew); Mitchell Marshall (Candace Brown); Maggie Marshall (Ryan Barnett); and Season Brennan; great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Lydia; and sister Rebecca Ann Morgan, Massachusetts.
She was predeceased besides her parents by a brother Timothy.
Visitations will be held Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Retired Corp. Sgt. Major Fred Jeffery officiating. Burial will be in Birch Hill Cemetery, Rocklin.
