STONE, Sarah Jane (Miller), born January 19, 1926– Passed peacefully away at Glovertown on Friday, December 2, 2011, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Predeceased by husband Robert Andrew (1977), good friend Clarence Hookey (2008) and sister Amy Cooper (2006). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son Gilbert (Susan) of Glovertown; daughter Bessie (Brendan) Doyle of Bay de Verde; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; the Hookey families and many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation was held at St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church, New Bonaventure. Funeral service was from New Bonaventure Anglican Church on Tuesday, December 6 at 11 a.m. Inurnment followed at St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery, Old Bonaventure. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery Fund.
