Viturat: Lorraine Marie Albertine Viturat, age 68, of Ponteix, Saskatchewan and formerly of Val Marie, passed away January 31, 2012 at Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home in Ponteix. The funeral service was held at 11:00am, Friday. February 3, 2012 from Notre Dame d'Auvergne Roman Catholic Church with Father Ainemon officiating. Readers were Denise Amerud and Adele Colby. The organist was Claudette Begin. The interment service was held at Notre Dame d'Auvergne Cemetery, Ponteix, Saskatchewan. Lorraine is survived by two sisters Marcelle (Ernie) Vivian and Aline (Gerald) Church; nieces and nephews; Denise (Dale) Amerud and their children Mitchell, Devon, Sydney, Doris Prive and her children Kyle and Ryan; Mike (Karren) Prive and their children Christen Jaiden, Cassidy, Cadence, Hailey; Adele (Darren) Colby and their children Craig, Scott, and Kaitlyn; Colette (Carey) Jackson and their daughter Sierra; Giselle (Chad) Bruce and their children Austin, Addison. She is predeceased her mother and father Roger and Germaine Viturat, companion Elmer Laturnus, brother Raymond at birth. Lorraine was born in Ponteix, September 20, 1943. She attended school at Notekeu Creek School and then Ponteix School. She worked at Gabriel Hospital in the laundry department and later as a nurses aide at the Foyer St. Joseph. Lorraine special interests, and hobbies were word search puzzles, playing cards, watching "All My Children", bingo, which she never won, but always had two handful of quarters.
