It is with great sadness the family of Eldon James Campbell announce his passing on Feb. 18, 2012, at his residence in Oromocto, N.B. Born March 2, 1946, in McAdam, N.B., he was the son of James and Beatrice (Hogan) Campbell and husband to Patsy Campbell. Eldon is survived by wife, Patsy of Oromocto; children, Joanne Chaisson (Duane) of Fairview, P.E.I., Greg Campbell (Tina) of Dartmouth, N.S., and Rick Campbell (Krista) of Borden-Carleton, P.E.I.; his grandchildren, Kelsey Chaisson, Jordan Chaisson, Jaime Campbell and Bradley Campbell; his mother, Beatrice Campbell; his sisters, Sandra Hippenstall (Tony), Marie Manley and Linda Stewart (Dave); sister-in-law, Frances Corrigan (Wayne); brothers-in-law, George Hardy and Herb Hardy; aunts and uncles, Glen Campbell (Dona), Loretta Birch, Marie Hogan, Dot Campbell and Arvella Hogan as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, James Campbell; his sister-in-law, Helen Hardy and his parents-in-law, Benjamin and Eileen Bridges. Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. with the Ven. John Sharpe officiating. Interment will take place in the St. John Anglican Cemetery, Ellerslie, P.E.I. at a later date. For those who wish, donations in memory of Eldon may be made to the N.B. Heart & Stroke Foundation.
