VYE VYE, Don Garfield passed away June 19, 2007 after a brief illness. He is predeceased by his wife Iris in 1981. Lovingly remembered by his wife Marion and children Dean (Edith), Drew, Wayne (Ella) and Serena (Tom) and grandchildren Casey, Colin, Neil, Vanessa, Erin, Ailyn, Emma and Amy. Don was born April 01, 1922 in Victoria where he spent his childhood. Married to Iris in 1952, they later moved briefly to Vancouver and then to Kamloops where their children were raised. Don was well known in the automotive industry for many years. After retirement Don and Marion spent winters in Arizona and summers in Lethbridge, Alberta, later settling in Duncan. A Celebration of Life for Don will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services on Monday, June 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Heritage Hall.
