Lawrence like Rita loved the spirit of a great small town life. "Haugie" as he was known to co-workers, friends had a good working life starting with Spencer's Dept. From his original sibling group Haugie has ten sisters and two brothers who survive him as well as nieces and nephews near and far.

Haugie loved to go camping with his family when they were younger and loved Lac Des Roches in the Cariboo spending over 21 years of gathering at their family cabin.

The family thanks everyone for their kindness, generosity, sympathy and prayers, to the many friends who journeyed far to pay their respects. To Clara Irwin, what a great song you sang, Lloyd, Bud, Chuck & Dad all appreciated you doing this for them. Our praise to those who work at Mountain View Lodge and the dedication they have to those needing care. In Lytton, we honour also his caregiver Wendy.
