PEVIE, MADELON THERESA (nee PARKER) -
The death of Madelon Theresa Pevie occurred on Saturday, June 16th, 2012 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born December 16th, 1941 in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late Oswald and Dorothy (Doak) Parker and the spouse of Hank McKay. Madelon is survived by her loving spouse, Hank; her children, April McKay (Henry) of Lincoln, NB, Todd Morrison (Susan Jervah) of Geary, NB, Suzette "Lee" MacDonald (Steve) of Shearwater, NS and Shawn McKay of Lincoln, NB; three grandchildren, Jordan, Evan and Jason; goddaughter, Tracee Godreau and one brother, Brian Parker.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home (357-5100) on Monday, June 18th, 2012 from 2 to 4 pm, followed by prayers and words of comfort with Fr. Ken Weir. Interment will be in the Sunny Bank Cemetery in Fredericton, at a later date. For those who wish, donations in memory of Madelon may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
