At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, November 28, 2008, of James Edward “Eddie” Acorn of Charlottetown, age 75 years. Beloved husband of Evelyn (nee MacPherson). Dear father of Linda Newman (Lloyd), Norma Lee Singleton (Glenn), Rosemary Batchilder (Chris Ling) and Jamie Acorn (Patricia). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Richard, Wayne and Jason Newman, Jennifer and Jamie Singleton, Joshua Batchilder, Chandler, Alexander, Lauren and Katie Acorn. Brother of Bill Acorn (Arlene). Brother-in-law of Shirley Acorn, Georgina Acorn, Hilda Simpson (Merrill) and Vera Campbell (Wilfred). Predeceased by his parents, Everett and Sadie (Smith) Acorn, by his brothers, Lorne (Eva), Arthur, Matthew and Kimball and by his brother-in-law, Wendell MacPherson (Ivy). Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 1 p.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
