DESAUTELS, Marie-Anna (Larose) age 93 of Ponteix, SK, peacefully died Sept. 9, 2012 at Foyer St. Joseph surrounded by her loving family at her side. She was born Sept. 8, 1919 in St. Henri, Conte Leves, QC. She moved to McCord, SK at the peak of depression at the age of 8. She was the 4th child of 15 children. She moved to Ponteix, SK in her teen years and worked as a nanny for the Levasseur family where she met and married Ernest Desautels May 27, 1939. Their marriage was blessed with 6 children. They loved to travel and she was an avid curler. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, four sisters, her son Marcel Oct. 20, 1975, her husband, Ernest Sept. 12, 1991, her grandson Clayton Nov. 13, 1999. She is survived by Marie-Rose Watt (Don) -Spruce Grove, AB, Annette Campbell (Dave) - Yorkton, SK, daughter-in-law Shirley Picray ( Claude) - Ponteix, SK, Andre Desautels - Montreal, QC, Irene Irwin (Tim) - Airdrie, AB, Claude Desautels (Christine) - Ponteix, SK, 17 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. Prayer services on Friday Sept. 14, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at Notre Dame D'Auvergne Roman Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday Sept. 15, 2012 at 11am Notre Dame D'Auvergne Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers donation to Foyer Safe Garden or Cancer Research.
