CORMIER, NORMAND - 1928 - 2012 - Normand Cormier, 84 of Sainte-Marie de Kent passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, Moncton on Thursday, November 29th, 2012. He was married to Noëlla (LeBlanc) Cormier. Born in Sainte-Marie de Kent, he was the son of the late Robert and the late Marie (Léger) Cormier. Norman was a retired school bus driver and a farmer. He will be sadly missed by his wife Noëlla, his four children; Bernice Cormier (Maurice Thibodeau) of Grand Barachois, Phyllis Cormier and Donald (Phyllis) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, and Léo-Paul of Mechanic Falls, ME, seven grandchildren; Manon, Jean-Yves, Martine, Cory, Nicholas, Josée and Mathieu. He also leaves to mourn two sisters; Laurina LeBlanc of Moncton and Anita LeBlanc (Edwin) of Shediac, four brothers; Aldérice (Sémita) of Saint-Paul, Yvon (Noëlla), Jean-Marie and Phil (Ann), all of Massachusetts, and several nephews and nieces. Normand was predeceased by one son Zoël and one daughter Diana, two sisters, Wilma and Albertine, and four brothers, Zoël, Oscar, Oswald and Aurèle.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Sunday December 2nd, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Mass will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Monday, December 3rd, 2012 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
