Passed away peacefully with family at her side at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Sunday, December 9, 2012, at the age of 82 years.
Beloved wife of the late Winston "Wynn" LCol (Ret'd) of 57 years. Loving mother of Kent and his wife Ester, Glen and his wife Jocelyn, Faye Cottingham and her husband Jim, Patti and her husband David Fry and Gregg and his wife Shirley. Lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister, Alberta Boswall and husband Graeme. Predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Augusta "Gussie" Bryant.
In addition to her life as a military wife living in many areas of Canada and Germany, Grace graduated from the P.E.I. School of Nursing (Class of '51) as a Registered Nurse, practicing for over 30 years. Grace also held various positions in Health Care Management. Grace and Wynn both volunteered with FSNA for many years in Trenton, and Grace also volunteered with Quinte District Health Council.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at the Weaver Family Funeral Home - West Chapel, 170 Dundas Street, Trenton, ON, on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. A Celebration of Grace's Life and reception will follow at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army in Grace's memory would be appreciated.
Grace will join her beloved Wynn in their final resting place at Beechwood National Military Cemetery, Ottawa, at a later date.
