It is with great sadness that the family of the late Archibald Biggin announce his passing, surrounded by his family at Corner Brook Long Term Care, in his 100th year. He will be sadly missed by his devoted children: Clara (Bill) Forsey of Corner Brook, Winston (Loretta) of Daniel’s Harbour, Nina (Eddie) Pieroway of Corner Brook; grandchildren: Joy (Wayne) Mitchell, Arch (Patsy) Forsey, Bill (Rose)Forsey, Kim (Robin) Taylor, Howard Forsey, Vicki (Wayne) Wheeler, Blair Forsey (Robin Sweeney), Evelyn (Bruce) Hall, Dwayne (Carolyn) Biggin, Dwight (Sherry) Biggin, Wallie (Tanya) Biggin, Bruce (Phyllis) Pieroway, Brent Pieroway, and Brenda Pieroway (Ben Strickland), 20 great grandchildren: Jessica, Kayla, Tyler, Jeremy, William, Jillian, Pamela, Jennifer, Samantha, Michael, Alicia, Caleb, Dion, Jake, Patricia, Rochelle, Bruce, Megan, Chelsea and Sarah; 11 great great grandchildren: Marissa, Landon, Dylan, Kayleigh, Jaxon, Katie, Evan, Lucas, Jaxon, Jorja and Avery; his sisters: Alice (Doug) House, Elsie Payne, Edith (Henry) House; sisters-in-law: Aurelia (Bob) Primrose, Alice Pittman, Doreen (Wallace) Lodge, Connie Payne; step sisters-in-law: Elsie House, Jessie (Thomas) Caines; step brother-in-law, Leonard Payne. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Evelyn, his parents: William & Elizabeth Biggin, sisters: Ivy (Abe) House, Fanny (Gord) Payne; brothers: Howard (Hepsy) and Eli; sisters-in-law Daisy (Edward) House and Ethel Payne; brothers-in-law and friend: Henry Pittman, Walt Payne and Doug Payne, granddaughter-in-law Ericka Pieroway. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 7 p.m from the Holy Cross Anglican Church in Daniel’s Harbour from where funeral service will also take place on Thursday at 2:00 p.m with Rev. Jean Brenton officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot in Spudgell’s Cove. By request of the family, flowers or donations to the Holy Cross Church Fund would be graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home, Deer Lake, NL.
