It is with profound sadness we announce the death of Nicholas J. Kennedy, age 72 years, that took place at the Hoyles Home. Predeceased by his loving wife, Alice (nee Snow); parents, John & Mary (Keough) Kennedy; siblings, Francis, Theresa and special friend, Shirley. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children: Madonna (Craig) Cooney, Jerry (Robin) McLean, Colleen (Dave) McLean-Parfitt, Kevin (Donna) McLean, Geraldine (Glenn) Rideout, Josephine (Jerome) St. Croix, Duncan Kennedy, Jackie (Glen) Kennedy & Lisa (Mike) Kennedy; grandchildren: Megan, Danielle, Peter, Joanne, Dennis, Kevin W, Dietra, Tyrone, Chad, Shelby, David, Devin, Adam, Nicole & Nicholas; great-grandchild Tavyn, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends, including siblings Raymond (Margaret), Tom (Mary), Kevin (Marie), May, Patsy (Leo) and Madeline (Oscar). Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus, on Thursday, April 18 from 2-9 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church, Brigus.
