BURTON, RONALD SR. - Ronald George Burton Sr. of Hoyt, NB passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital June 18, 2013. Duke, as he was known by family and friends, was born on November 20, 1932 to the late Mildred Charlton and Frederick Burton. He was a Woods Worker most of his working life, he loved fishing and hunting. Duke is survived by his wife Mary Rose Comeau, (51 years in August) his three daughters: Marjorie Burton (Joe Comeau), Mildred Hunt, Wanda McCaw (Barry), son, Ronald Jr. (Stacy Prosser), sister: Linda Gillett Fraser, five grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers, Donald and Robert.
Family and friends are invited to Dukes funeral at the Calvary Lighthouse Pentecostal Church on June 21, 2013 at 2pm, with Rev. Alan McManus officiating. There will be a private family interment in the Blissville Cemetery at a later time. You may express your sympathy by making a donation to the Cancer society of NB, or a charity of your choice.
