It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Jane McDonald announce her passing at the Bay St.George Long Term Care Center on Monday July 1st 2013 at the age of 93 years. She will be sadly missed by her two sons: Harvey Gale (Rita) of Stephenville, James (Hilda) Gale of Black Duck Siding, three daughters: Mary (Ben) Parsons of Kippens, Dorothy Parsons of Stephenville, Kathleen (Don) Pond of New Brunswick, her sisters: Alma (John Tom) Hillard of Codroy Valley Vivian Parsons of Port aux Basques, Blanche (Gus) Downey of Millville. Also leaving to mourn are a large number of grand children, great grand children, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Francis McDonald. Visitation will take place on Wednesday July 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 from Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville. Funeral services will take place 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 4th, 2013 from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church on Hillview Avenue in Stephenville with interment in the Anglican Cemetery in Stephenville Crossing.
