It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bridget Small announce her sudden passing, surrounded by her family at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s on Friday October 4, 2013 at the age of 63 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 40 years, Kenneth; her beloved children Kerry (Tonya), Cox’s Cove and Sherri-Lynn Ruth (Chaney), Summerside; her two precious and cherished grandchildren whom she was so proud of: Marcus and Mateo Small; her furry little friends Astro and Boots; sisters Frances Elson (Alan) and Annie Hollahan (Kevin), as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents William and Anne Pearce; brothers: Patrick, Gerald, Leonard and Bernard; sisters Rosemary and Catherine. Family gatherings will never be the same without you singing and playing your guitar. The memories we have made will live with us forever and be cherished through the years ahead. Let’s not dwell on time lost, but the cherished memories we have. Friends may visit St. Nicholas Anglican Church in Cox’s Cove on Monday and Tuesday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Laing officiating. Interment will follow from the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the family.
