RICHARD, AURÈLE - (1921 - 2014) - ALDOUANE, NB - Aurèle Richard, 92, of Aldouane, NB passed away peacefully at the Veterans Health Center, Moncton on Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Born in Aldouane, he was the son of the late Martin and late Henriette (Grey) Richard. Before retiring, Aurèle was employed as a fisherman and a bricklayer. He was also a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force (1939-1945). Aurèle will be sadly missed by his loving wife; Anna-Marie (Blanchard) Richard, his six daughters; Claudia Spence (Dean), Irène R. Bourgeois (Euclide), Denise Richard, Marguerite Richard, Ginette Richard (Evan), Corinne Richard (Paul Daigle), six grandchildren; Mathieu, Julien, Marielle, Pavel, Samuel, Benoit, three great grandchildren; Isabelle, Léona, Audrée, one sister; Yvonne Graham (late Laurence) and several nieces and nephews. Aurèle was predeceased by two brothers; Alcide, Laurie, two sisters; Léona, Rita and one nephew; Phillip West.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Saturday at 10:00 am until time of funeral. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 2nd, 2014 at 11:00 am, Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Donations in Aurèle's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
