With saddened hearts and tears in our eyes, the family of the late Marie Anne (Anne) Campbell-Taylor wish to announce her peaceful passing at home, with family by her side, in Annapolis Royal, N.S., on Feb. 14, 2014. Born in St. Philippe, P.E.I., on July 26, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Glorice and Julitte (Bernard) Cormier. Anne will be greatly missed by her many friends and family who have lovingly travelled this journey with her. She was an example to all who may have followed her through the journey of friendship. Anne leaves behind her husband Dean Taylor; sons Earle (Helen) Campbell of Summerside, P.E.I., Bruce Campbell of Annapolis Royal, Jim Campbell of Alliston, Ont., and Michael (Robin) Campbell of Quispamsis, N.B.; grandchildren Jacob, Samuel, Gabriel, and Jessica; brothers Marc (Doris) Cormier, Eddie Cormier, Albert (Cathy) Cormier, Yvon (Yvette) Cormier; brother In-law Narcisse Gautreau; sisters Eva (Leo) Richard, Aline Leblanc, Yvonne (Adelard) Pitre, and sister In-law Brenda Bernard. Anne was predeceased by her first husband Jeb (Bazil) Campbell; granddaughter Koren; sister Anita Gautreau; brothers Leo and Louis Cormier; sister in-law Therese Cormier and brother in-law Gerald LeBlanc. A memorial service will be held at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in Annapolis Royal on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. There will also be a memorial service taking place at the St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Summerside, P.E.I., on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. At each location family and friends will gather afterwards in the church hall for a celebration of Anne's life. All are welcome. The family requests no flowers and donations in Anne’s memory be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society.
