NICKERSON, Sandra Lynne, May 7, 1960 – August 9, 2014, Sandra passed away peacefully at Bay Side Home, Barrington, on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 54 years of age. Born in Yarmouth, she was the daughter of the late Whitman and the late Phyllis (Dixon) Nickerson. She is survived by brothers, Wayne Larkin, Brier Island; Larry Hopkins, Oak Park; sister, Cecilia Smith, Shelburne; several nieces and nephews; and very special friends, Pat and Phil Stoddard, Clark’s Harbour. She was predeceased by partner, Donna Rose Nickerson- Muldrew; sister, Mary Malone; brothers, Willard and Donald. Sandra always spread joy, sunshine and laughter wherever she went and despite her disability loved life and helping others whenever possible. She enjoyed the freedom of riding her scooter and enjoying God’s nature, especially by the ocean. The dream of her life came true when she went to Disneyland, Florida with friends Pat and Phil in 2011. Sandra was also a cherished member of Island Gospel Tabernacle in Clam Point. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 13, at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington. Interment of ashes at a later date in Old Farm Cemetery, Shag Harbour. Memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the Island Gospel Tabernacle Youth Fund.
