WATT, ANNIE - The endless days of golf have started on the other side for a strong and warm hearted woman who left us on September 17, 2014. Annie Maude Watt (aka Nan Watt) passed away peacefully at the Middleton Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Nova Scotia. She was the young age of 99 and right up until her final breath she lived life to the fullest. She was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick and was the strong pillar of her community in Marysville. She was a life learner, graduated, went to teachers college, worked numerous years at the Marysville Store and The Marysville Cotton Mill. After marrying her love- Bob they opened The Watt Garage on Canada Street in Marysville. Later in life she took her love of properties and went into real estate where she was a talented agent with Dave Hawkins Real Estate well up into her 70’s. She was outgoing and active and always looking out to help and give wherever she could. She spent many days later in life going to friends homes to spend time playing cards, drop flowers off or a baked loaf of banana bread. When asked what she was doing? She would comment; “visiting the old folks and keeping them company.” She did these random acts well up into her 90’s. Survivors include; One Sister; Elva McCausland, Fredericton, N.B., sister-in-law; Marion Hamilton, Fredericton, N.B., daughter and son-in-law, Fredericton, N.B.
