Caroline, formerly from Point de Roche, P.E.I., died peacefully at Fairhaven Home in Burnaby, B.C., on January 27, 2015, at the age of 85.
Besides her parents, Monica (MacDonald) and Ruel McCormack, Caroline was also predeceased by her sister, Betty MacGuigan (Jim, dec.), and brothers - Father Ivan, Charlie, and Johnny. She is survived by sisters - Gerry Dalling (Bob, dec.), Gen, Teresa Strain (Frank), Anne Corrigan, Peggy Sosnkowski (Tony, dec.), Mary Kawaja (Don), Joan McGinn (Brendon), Rita McLaughlin (Gene); and brothers - Pius, Ben, and Ted.
Caroline lived a full and rich life having been trained as a nurse in P.E.I., prior to joining Our Lady's Missionaries where she devoted her life to promoting the missionary order, as well as being educated as an x-ray technician. After dedicating 16 years to OLM, Caroline settled in the Fraser Valley, B.C., working in hospitals in Chilliwack and Abbotsford, eventually becoming head of Medical Imaging at the MSA Hospital in Abbotsford.
Caroline was a woman of faith and now enjoys eternal life.
A funeral mass celebrating her life was held in Abbotsford, B.C.
