FAULKNER, VALERIE
1952 - 2015
Valerie A. Faulkner of Riverview passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at The Moncton Hospital, with her loving family at her side. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Everett and Shirley (Paterson) Keith.
Valerie began her working career as a nurse in Saint John and later owned and operated Valerie’s Fashions in Sussex before moving it to Riverview. This was followed by being a manager at Pier 1 in Moncton. Yet for the last eight years she has worked alongside her husband, Wayne as the owners and operators of AFG Security Solutions. She loved to be outside whether it be on the golf course, on her motorcycle travelling with her husband and those cherished moments with her beloved grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Wayne Faulkner, children; Lisa Alward (Robert Ippoliti) of Leamington, ON, Troy Alward (Jessica) of Quispamsis and Mark Alward (Shannon) of Boundary Creek, step children; Jeff Faulkner (Jennifer) and Lisa Faulkner (Gerald) both of Halifax, brother, Lee Keith of Moncton and her five grandchildren; Chloe, Alexandra, Isabelle, Kasey and Eliza.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A service celebrating Valerie’s Life will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 1 PM with Rev. Dean MacDonald officiating. The interment will take place in Greenhill Cemetery, Havelock at a later date.
Donations to either Oncology or Palliative Care Units of The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
