Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, November 23, 2015 of Helen Theresa Burke of Charlottetown, age 86 years.
Beloved wife of the late Roy Burke and dear mother of Ron Burke and Deborah Burke (Raf Haddad). Loving Nana of Julia and Kristopher. Helen is also lovingly remembered by her sister Amelia (Frank) Desveaux and brother Peter (Bert) MacAulay.
Helen and her sister Amelia were the original proud owners of MacAulay's Bakery & Delis in Charlottetown.
She was also predeceased by her sisters Mary Poole and Laura Taylor, and brothers Joe, Danny, Elmer, Charlie and John MacAulay.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visiting hours on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. A reception for family and friends will follow in the funeral home. There will be no funeral service by request.
