44, of Centreville, NS, passed away on December 3, 2015 at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville. Lesley was born on September 12, 1971 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Lesley spent her early years in Newfoundland where she made wonderful lifelong friends. Lesley loved being a wife and a mother so much that she gave up her career at Sobeys to be a fulltime homemaker. Lesley volunteered regularly at Aldershot School and the Centreville Park and made many friends along the way. Lesley loved and was dearly loved by her family. She spent much of later years simply enjoying her loving husband, her children, and her family. She loved to garden and do yard work and was an excellent cook. Lesley was a great listener and a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Lesley was preceded in death by her grandmother, Doris Kidston and father-in-law, Donnie Harris. Lesley is survived by her loving husband, Troy; son, William and daughter, Julia, both at home; her parents, Rosalind Brake and Rob Kidston of Dartmouth; sister, Raquel Chubey and husband, Grant of Bedford; mother-in-law, Betty Harris of Centreville; brother-in-law, Craig Harris (Kyla) of Centreville; sisters-in-law, Beth (Gordon Kelly) of Halifax and Vicki of Centreville; special aunt and uncle, Loretta and Dan Stone of Halifax, lifelong friends, Cheryl and Dennis Therrien of Corner Brook; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2015 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where a celebration of life and reception will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015, Father Craig Cameron officiating. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. Family flowers only. The family would like to thank Dr. Lori Burgess, Paulette Gash and the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses for their kindness, care and compassion. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in memory may be made to the Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses - for the purchase of pulse oximeter equipment or the Valley Regional Hospital - Carey Me Fund (in support of palliative care in the home).
