NICKERSON, Julia “Darlene”, 61, Sandy Point, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Roseway Hospital. She was the daughter of Teenie Butler (Matthews) and the late Herman Butler. Darlene worked at Chebogue Fisheries for 14 years and later at the Little Guy’s Furniture store for four years. She also enjoyed crocheting and making crafts. Darlene is survived by son, Troy (Tanya); daughter, Annette (Mark Hemeon); grandsons Cody Nickerson and Kyler Hemeon, whom she loved dearly; sisters, Barbara Butler, Sandy Point and Inez Morneault, Greenwood; brothers, Robert and Dwaine Butler, Sandy Point; companion, Perley Goodick, Sandy Point. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, April 12 from 7-9 pm in H.M. Huskilson`s Funeral Home, Shelburne where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 13 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Wayne Dooks officiating. Interment in Buchanan Cemetery.
