MAGUIRE, JAMES S.
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of James Stephen Maguire, which occurred on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Saint John he was a son of the late Herbert and Doreen Mary (Gagnes) Maguire. He was a contractor in the construction trade and in his youth he worked at the Cue 88 Baxter Dairies and Keddy’s.
He is survived by his brothers: Vernon of Calgary, Herbert of Toronto, Kevin of Saint John, Stephen of Moncton; sisters: Brenda, Doreen (David) Logan, Lorraine (Ernest) Chiasson, Shirley (Wayne) Crouse, Kathleen Vautour and Darlene (Derrick) Hutchings, all of Saint John, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, John (634-1965) there will be visiting on Wednesday May 11, 2016 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8PM and Thursday May 12, 2016 from 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 12:10 PM. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
