The death occurred peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, May 15, 2016, of Chester Allison MacDonald of Shamrock, P.E.I., aged 71 years. Chester was born in Charlottetown, to his late parents William and Stella MacDonald. Survived by his brothers Donald and Angus of Summerside and Arthur (Darlene) and David (Rose), all of Shamrock. Besides his parents, Chester was predeceased by his brother Winston. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Friday, May 20, where a memorial service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in the Springton Cemetery, P.E.I.
