Born in Cape Breton, NS on May 21, 1916 and passed away at the Providence Manor, Kingston on Thursday, September 29th, 2016 in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Major G. Matheson. Loving mother of Don (Suzanne) Matheson of Kingston, Sandra Kirby of Charlottetown and Eric "Ike" (Marcia) Matheson of Trenton. Cherished Gramma of 9 Grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Loved by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her son Major Matheson, daughter Kenena Kinmond and infant son Angus. The family will receive friends at the Weaver Family Funeral Home - East, 29 Bay Street, Trenton on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. As well, Visitation will be held at the MacLean Funeral Home, 15 Ole King Square, Charlottetown, PEI on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 11a.m. until 1 p.m. with the Service to follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment at People's Cemetery.
