Peacefully surrounded by his wife & family at his late residence on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 of Lomer Sterling MacDonald of Cornwall, age 70 years. Loving husband of Donna; beloved father of Jeremy (Jenny) and Papa of Cole and Connor. Brother of Dorothy Crosby, Hazel Crosby, Shirley Pollard, Willard, Wendell (Heather), Neil (Gail), Audrey Auld (Eric Ellsworth), Lea (Colleen), Mervin (Debbie), Donna (Kent) Gorveatt and Terry (Gayle). Brother-in-law of Phyllis MacDonald, Colin Birt, Gail Martin, David (Jean) McKinnon, Bev (Don) McMahon, Darlene (Kevin) Hambly and Jackie (Mim MacInnis) McKinnon. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Percy and Emily (Seller) MacDonald of Churchill, grandson Thomas Lomer, parents-in-law Rita and Aeneas McKinnon, brothers Oliver “Ollie” and Borden MacDonald, sisters Sandra Birt and Joyce Richards; sister-in-law Patsy McKinnon, brothers-in-law Andrew Crosby, Heath Crosby, Alger Pollard, Preston Richards, Henry Ferguson, Gerry Auld, Gary McKinnon and Mel Martin. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Monday from Zion Presbyterian Church at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery.
