The family members of the late Thomas Augustus (Gus) Cossitt wish to express our sincere appreciation to relatives and friends who offered their kindness and warm support at a sad time in our lives.

We extend a special thank you to Bishop Matthew Vstreycki who presided at the funeral liturgy and to Father Terry Boland and Father Don Leonard, who were concelebrants at Mass. We are deeply grateful to the organist Sister Kay Rex, the Cathedral choir and soloists Ann Chaffey and Leo Fagan, the readers, Communion ministers, servers and pallbearers. The Honour Guard provided by the Knights of Columbus and the Royal Canadian Legion, as well as the Legion Ritual were very much appreciated.

We would like also to acknowledge the kind expressions of sympathy offered by all those who visited the funeral home, sent Mass offerings, donations to charities, cards, food and flowers.

We are grateful to the staff at Fillatre’s Funeral Home and thank them for their dedication and their kindness in helping us through a difficult time.

To everyone who helped Gus’ family mourn his passing and celebrate his life he would want to share with you a benediction from “An Old Irish Blessing.”
