STELLARTON – Donald “Dougall” Alexander Forrestall, 72, of North Foord Street, Stellarton, passed away Tuesday, December 25th, 2007, at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Stellarton, he was a son of the late Robert and Minnie (Wade) Forrestall. Dougall was a lifelong resident of Stellarton. He worked as a miner in his early years then went on to work at Sobeys Warehouse. He was a member of Our Lady Of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton and a former employee of the Heather Hotel. Surviving are sister, Etta, Stellarton; special nephew, Bill Dean, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Bessie and Margaret; and brothers, Percy and Jack. His remains will rest in the H. C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton for visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. from Our Lady Of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with Father Bill Rankin officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory of Dougall may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of one’s choice.
