BROGAN, IONA FRANCES The death of Iona Frances Brogan of Minto, NB, occurred on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at the Queen's North Health Complex. Born October 16, 1916 in Rothwell, NB she was the daughter of the late George and Maude (Richardson) Kelley. Survived by her sons Robert (Eileen) of Liverpool, NS and James (Dawn) of Fredericton, NB; six granddaughters; 12 great grandchildren; a brother George (Oscar) Kelley of Saint John, NB; three sisters, Ann Fairweather of Saint John, NB, Edith Blair (Don) of River Phillip, NS and Maude Gaudet of Mississauga, ON; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Iona was predeceased by her husband John Brogan in 1954; two brothers, Howard and Claude; three sisters, Lois Toth, Jean Forbes and infant Evelyn. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home, 327-3490 with visiting on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2003 from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father P. Stephen officiating. Spring interment will take place in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Minto, NB. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stained Glass Window Fund of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church would be appreciated.
