BEST, GORDON GERALD KEITH "TEX" Age 65 of Fredericton, N.B., passed away suddenly, Thursday May 22, 2003 at home. Born in Wolfville, Kings County, he was a son of Mrs. Mabel (Atwell) Best, Wolfville and the late Arthur Best. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Louise (Wendell) Pineo, New Minas, Kings County; Sharon (Brian) Barkhouse, Aylesford, Kings County; three brothers, William "Bill" (Marie), Look Off, Kings County, Willis (Christina), Grand Pre, Kings County, Hal (Debbie), Centreville, Kings County; two step-children, Eddie and Andrea, both of Moncton, N.B. There will be no visitation by family request. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 27, 2003 in the W.C. Hiltz / White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Rev. Neil Price officiating. Private burial will take place in the Lower Horton Cemetery, Grand Pre. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Lung Association.
