SWIFT, MADELINE (NEE CULLEN) On June 4, 2003 at Minto, New Brunswick, in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late Francis (Frank) Cullen and the late Blanche Gallagher of Chipman, N. B. Beloved wife of the late Victor Swift. Dear mother of Thomas (Maureen) of Cornwall, ON, Michael (Ann) of Ottawa, Rev. Maurice of Black's Harbour, N.B., George of Ottawa and Veronica Soloman of Powell River, BC. Loving grandmother of Patrick Swift, Colleen MacDonell, Charlotte MacFarlane, Catherine Ianni, Peter Swift, David Swift, Andrew Swift, Dann Soloman, Rachael Soloman and Julia Soloman. Fondly remembered by 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is survived by two sisters: Anne Thompson of Mission, B. C. and Kathleen Collins of Plaster Rock. Madeline lived all her life in Minto. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Church, the Catholic Womens League and the Minto Senior Citizens. In addition to her husband Victor, she was pre-deceased by a brother Maurice Cullen and two sisters Frances Macdonell and Doris McNeil. Friends may pay respects at the Minto Funeral Home on Friday from 2 - 4 and from 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 7th, 2003 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial donations to St. Bridigt's Cemetery fund or the charity of their choice
