BURNETT, RONALD J. The passing of Ronald (Ron) James Burnett of Fredericton, beloved husband of Margaret (Camber) Burnett, occurred unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, December 31, 2006. He was 74. Born July 29, 1932 at Kingsclear, NB, he was the son of the late Ashley James Burnett and Helen Mildred (Dunphy) Burnett. Ron attended the Island View Baptist Church. Prior to his retirement, he was a School Bus Driver for 25 years. A hard working man all his life, Ron, at one time, was employed with Elmtree Concrete as a truck driver, a Custodian at Garden Creek School and for a number of years worked at the Fish Hatchery in Kingsclear. Ron raised Arabian horses, owning and operating Silverwood Arabians. Ron is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Margaret (Camber) Burnett; his cherished daughter, Kimberley (Kim) Taylor (Frank) of Fredericton and a very special and much loved granddaughter, Riley Taylor; a brother, Neill Burnett of Fredericton; a sister, Jean Wilson (Murray) of Mactaquac; a niece, Cathy Olive (Terry) of Hanwell; and nephews, Danny Burnett of Scotch Settlement and Chad and Drew Wilson both of Fort McMurray, Alberta; as well as a grandniece and three grandnephews also survive him. Predeceased by his parents and a dear sister-in-law, Olive Burnett. The family will receive friends at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held from the Island View Baptist Church on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment at a later date.
