SHEA, ETHEL MAY (GILBERT) Ethel Shea passed away on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007 at Pine Grove Nursing Home. Born in 1920 in Burton, NB she was the wife of the late Edward Shea and daughter of the late George and Ethel Gilbert. She was predeceased by her four brothers, Frank, Charles, Bishop Arthur and Joseph Gilbert. Ethel is survived by her family, Frances Drozynski (Gene), Mary Colton (Arnold), Geraldine Carlin, Joyce LeClerc (Robert), Malcolm Mahoney, Burton Mahoney (Beryl); sisters, Laura McDonough (Hilary), Lucy O'Brien (John), Mary Gilbert and brother, Thomas Gilbert (Betty) as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, May 25th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Saturday, May 26th, 2007 at 10:00 am with Rev. Ken Weir officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
